Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and performer. She's been involved in numerous projects, however her involvement in the Disney Series Wizards of Waverly Place has had the greatest success. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. Her birth date was 22nd July 1992, located in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Selena's mother, Ricardo Gomez, was 16 and she came into the world. Selena got her first showbiz work at the age of 9 when she played Gianna from Barney and her Friends. Thus, she was one of numerous children who played in the role of Barney, a famous character from the anthropomorphic pink dinosaur. Selena was a part of several episodes of seasons 7 and 8 between 2001 and 2003. Interesting trivia: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends in the same time period too, also worked with Selena.
